After Hours Hide-n-Seek

Friday, May 12, 2017 – 6:30-9:00pm @ Main Library – Rockport

Everyone loves hide-n-seek, but we’re playing in the dark, after hours, at the library!  Pizza will be served at 6:30pm and then its hide-n-seek for the rest of the night!

Lego Mindstorms

Summer Reading 2017

Thanks to a grant received from the Library Services & Technology Act (LSTA), Spencer County Public Library will soon be able to offer Lego Mindstorms as a Young Adult program.  Through the LSTA grant, SCPL will be able to purchase approximately 12 Lego Mindstorms sets.  Two young adults (ages 12-18) will be able to work on a set that will allow SCPL to take an active role in teaching computer science and STEM subjects that are both fun and interactive by using robotics.
